I tried to grasp a sense of time, one year of a tree, by collecting fallen leaves on the ground. I was left there to listen to sounds as the seasons passed by while feeling like falling into the time that had gone by.
“Bagworm” in a shape of miniature hill, which I made in autumn 2011, was made from fallen leaves. I was not sure of the aftermath of the great earthquake, but I got into the pile of fallen leaves and listened to the surroundings.
